A MidSummer Nights Dream

So far I am liking this book. I think the characters are well thought out except for one. I think that the character Egues is boring. Sure he wants his daughter to die if she disobeys him but we don't understand him. He doesn't listen to reason so I guess you can say he's stubborn. Otherwise I think he is a boring character. Does anyone else think this way?
